' WOMAN REFUSES TO LEAVE. Pleas of not guilty were entered by ; Margaret McNeill (42), when she was charged at the Police Court this morn- • ing with being an idle and disorderly ■ person and being found on the enclosed ' premises of Peter Bhama, a Hindu. 1 Accused said she was asked to come in by the Hindu, but this was denied. Evidence that accused had been hang- " in" about the streets every day since . June 4 with undesirable persons was J given by Constable Needham. j "This woman has a very bad list, her 1 previous convictions numbering fortynine," said Sub-Inspector McCarthy. Accused was sent to gaol for three ■ months on one charge.
