CAN AUSTRALIA WIN?

IMPROVED FORM SHOWN.

SPARKLING GAME EXPECTED

SENIOR MATCHES TO CONTINUi

Local Rugby enthusiasts arc looking forward to tlie third Test match between the Australian and New Zealand Universities, to be played as the main attraction at Eden Park to-morrow. In the first Test the visitors were well beaten by 15 points to 3, but in the second trial on Wednesday last the Australians played a much brighter game, the margin "against them being nine points in a high scoring match. It is expected that the third meeting tomorrow will produce a sparkling exposition of the code.

In addition to the 'Varsity Test the senior grade competition will be continued, although the University and Marist Old Boy teams will not be playing. City will meet Grammar Old Boys in the curtain-raiser fit headquarters and Ponsonby will play College Rifles on No.- 2 ground. Technical Old Boys will travel to Onehunga to meet Mamikau, while Grafton and Training College will clash at the Showgrounds. Teams: — MANUKAU ROVERS. Senior A.—Dykes, Simmonds, French, McGuire.
