PERSONAL.
Sir James Gunson left for the South by the Limited express last evening. Mr. A. McNeil, Mr. TV. Dono van and Mr. W. A. Marshall (Wellington) are at the Star Hotel. Mr. H. H. Stirling, General Manager of the Kail wave, will leave Wellington to-day for Auckland. The Hon. G. J. Anderson was a passenger by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. Mr. Justice Herdman loft for the South by the Limited express last evening. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Wilson (Portland), Mr. A. McGee (Sydney), Mr. and Mrs. H. Anderson (Napier), and Mr. H. C. Thomas (Wellington) are at the Central Hotel. The Mayor, Mr. Geo. Baildon, has had congratulatory telegrams to the number of 200 'from all parts of New Zealand, including Invercargill, in regard to his success at the Mayoral election. Guests at the Albert Hotel include Mr. A. McGowan, Mr. J. J. McLean and Mr. T. H. Bardsley (Wellington), Mr. C. T>. J. Finlayson (Whangarei), and Mr. J. Morron (Kamo).
