TAKAPUNA FIRE.

DWELLING SLIGHTLY DAMAGED. GOOD SAVE BY BRIGADE. The Takapuna Fire Brigade received a call shortly after 2 o'clock this afternoon to a fire in Bracken Avenue. They found that flames were coming from a six-roomed house. The house was furnished, but there was no one at home at the time. The brigade succeeded in saving the building, but not before two front rooms and the .vestibule had been considerably damaged.
