LARGE AMOUNT SOUGHT.
On the grounde that he had been injustly treated, William 8011, who under the will of his father, Alexander Bell, runholder, of Auckland, had been allowed an annuity of £104, claimed an increase in the Supreme Court yesterday before Mr. Justice Blair. Mr. E. H. Northcroft represented plaintiff, and said that the father's estate wae valued at £344,000, and the net residue was estimated to exceed £150.000. "Tho fund is required to be invested," said Mr. Northcroft, "and the income haa accumulated for 10 years. It may be that at the end of that time it will amount to £300,000/* The plaintiff wae broken in health and, was unable to supplement his earnings. In reply to Mr. Johnstone, plaintiff admitted that twice bis father had placed him on farms. Mr. Johnetorie said that any reconflU action of the will would fall on the J rerfiduary estate. •ridMH* Mβ
