HELENSVILLE BY-ELECTION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HELENSVILLE, Wednesday. The by-election to fill the vacancy on the Helensville Town Board caused by the resignation of the former chairman, Mr. J. Mackie, was held to-day. Mr. A. G. Lowe was elected by a narrow major, ity, securing 121 votes against Mr. P. W. Taylor's 115.
