MUNICIPAL CHOIR'S PROGRESS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. At. the annual meeting of the Municipal Choir the treasurer reported that after liquidating heavy liabilities on its first year's activities the choir had been able to donate £12 10/ to the hospital and finished with a credit of flO. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr. F. Cuthforth (re-elected); vicepresident, Messrs. M. Rust, Marsden and Woods; secretary, Mies Isherwood; treasurer, Mr. W. Calder (re-elected); registrar, Mrs. Quayle; pianist, Mrs. Isherwood; librarian, Mr. T. Palmer; assistant, Mrs. Flower.
