SHIPPING NEWS.

COASTAL FOG. INWARD SHIPPING DELAYED. TREGEXXA AND RUAHLN'E LATE. Heavy tog off the delayed in-ward-bound shipping to-day, and the Tregeuna from Makatea and the Ruahine from Wellington, both of which wore due early this morning, did not arrive until this afternoon. Only one overseas vessel, the Port Fremantle, is sailing to-day, so that the port remains fairly busy. Tomorrow the City of Norwich is to be dispatched for the South, and her berth will be taken by the Canadian Winner, which is now due from Halifax to-mor-iow instead of to-day as was expected.

It is hoped to dispatch the steamer Indianola for New Plymouth on Monday next, to complete discharge of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp.

En route from New York, with general cargo for Auckland, Wfllinsrton. Lyttelton nnd punedin. the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Curtis is reported to have cleared Colon on Monday.

In continuation of her voyage from New York, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer City of Norwich is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Portland (Victoria).

The Lamb steamer Omana. which is discharging Australian coal and hardwood at the Central wharf, is not now expected to sail for Gisborne and Napier until Saturday.

To fill up for London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motorship Port Fremantle is to sail at 3 p.m. to-day for New Plymouth, Wanganui, Napier and Wellington. From the latter port ehe is to be dispatched for London on March 23.

Reported to have cleared Curacao on Monday last, the Federal steamer Huntingdon is en route from Liverpool, with general cargo for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunedin and Bluff, and is due at Auckland on March 28.

On her Homeward voyage from Auckland to New York, Boston and Halifax, the Canadian National steamer Canadian Transporter is reported to have arrived at Pauama on Monday. She was dispatched from Auckland on February 5.

From Auckland, via New York, the Federal steamer Surrey is reported to have arrived at Halifax last Monday. Thence she is to go to London to complete discharge of her cargo of general and refrigerated New Zealand produce.

En route from Apia to southern porta the Government motor ship Maui Pomare has been diverted to Auckland for repairs to her refrigerating machinery. She is due here on Saturday morning and her future itinerary will depend on the result of an inspection of her cargo of fruit.

L. D. Nathan and Company, Limited, advise that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Otira is scheduled to arrive from Liverpool on March 10. She is bringing general merchandise from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.

At present discharging basic slag from Antwerp at the King's wharf, the White Star steamer Herminus is to sail on Sunday morning for New Plymouth, Nelson. -Napier. Waikokopu and Wellington, to load for London. She is scheduled to clear Wellington on March 27.

Bringing general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Matakana is scheduled to sail from Liverpool on March 30. She is due at Auckland on May 7.

Kobt. Millar and Company have been appointed local agents for the steamer Baron Inchape. which is due at Auckland about March L'o, with a full cargo of sulphur from Galveston, Texas. About 3300 tons will be discharged here and the remainder at Port Kembla, Geelong and Adelaide.

A further radio from the Canadian National steamer Canadian Winner, en route from Halifax, states that she is being delayed by adverse weather, and vrill not reach Auckland until 8 a.m. to-morrow. >he was formerly expected to arrive at noon to-day. Suva, Auckland and Sydney, the Union Company's R.M.s. Niagara was t<l leave Vancouver yesterday. She is due at Auckland on March. 23 and at Sydnay on March 30. The R.M.m.s. Aorangi Ipaves Sydney today and is due at Auckland on Monday morning. She is to resume her vovage to Vancouver, via ports, on Tuesday. RIMUTAKA AT WELLINGTON. An arrival at Wellington this morning was the N.Z. Shipping Co.'s steamer Rimutaka. from London and Southampton. Besides mails and cargo she brought the following saloon passengers :—Mrs. E. M. INTERCOLONIAL STEAMERS. With passengers, mails and cargo for Auckland and Wellington respectively, the Union Company's steamers Marama and Maunganui are scheduled to clear Sydney to-morrow. Both vessels are due at their respective ports next Tuesday and sail again on their return voyage the following Friday. The Huddart. Parker passenger steamer Ulimaroa .'eaves Wellington to-morrow and is due at Sydney next Tuesday. She is to leave Sydney again the following Friday for Auckland, where she is due on March 19. RI'AHINE ARRIVES. _ Several hours later than expected, the New Zealand Shipping Company's stennier Ruahine arrived at Auckland from Wellington early this afternoon and berthed at the Queen's wharf to complete discharge of her general cargo from London. Heavy fog on the coast forced her to reduce speed during the night. After discharge, the Ruahine will commence Homeward loadIng at Auckland, completing at Tokomarn «a», Napier, Lyttelton and Wellington.
