WAIHI SHORT OF WATER.
WAIHI, this day
Rain fell in Waihi last night, and continues to-day, but it is not heavy. The wind is westerly, and the weather is very mild. There is no sign of tlip north-easterly gale, forecast last Tuesday.
The borough water supply has been considerably reduced during the prolonged drought, and it has been decided to close the municipal baths temporarijy from Saturday next.
