SOUTHLAND FROZEN MEAT CO. DIVIDEND OF 12 PER CKNTT. The report of the Southland Frozen Meat and Produce Export Company for the year 1928 shows a credit balance of £36,920. The profit for the year, including transfer fees, amounted to £27,328. There was brought forward from the previous year £29.050, making a total of £56,378. The general expenses absorb £12,646. and the dividend for the year at 12 per cent—half of which was paid as an interim dividend —absorbs £13.625, leaving to be carried forward £30,107.
