SENTENCES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. SEVERAL THEFT CHARGES. I i (By Telegrapk.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. | At the Supreme Court this morning Mr. Justice Smith imposed sentences as j follows:—H illiam Draper, eight charges iof forgery and uttering, reformative detention for one year; Ernest Frederick Loesch. carnal 4 knowledge. two years' reformative detention; Stanley ! William Roy ( hatteegee, assault with intent to commit rape, three years' hard labour: Wm. Joseph as a servant and failure to for moneys, reformative detention for one year; Robin Douglas Bloor, carnal knowledge. four months' imprisonment. Oswald Henry Parker, breaking, entering and theft (five charges) and Archibald William Parkes, breaking, entering and attempted breaking and entering. were jointly dealt with on one charge of attempted breaking and entering and theft and on four charges of breaking-, entering and theft. Parker was sentenced to three years at the Borstal institution and Parkes to two years at the Borstal. John Joseph Herbert Rush, for breaking, entering and theft (two charges), was sentenced to one year's imprisonment on each charge, the terms to be concurrent.
