■ i i®L charm about Holland is the delightful way in which they cling to their old customs end, in some places, to their old costumes, though 7 . 7 are giving place to the drab garb of the rest of Northern Europe. A locality all tourists visit is that of the dead cities of the ee, which silted up so much that these once busy seaports were cut off from deep-sea craft. Now the famous Zuyder is to be drained, or rather, most of it, and farms will replace salt water.
