DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS,

AUCKLAND TEAM'S DEPARTURE.

Auckland's three official repreeentatives at the New Zealand amateur athletic and cycling championships, which will be held at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Friday and Saturdav of this week, J. W. Savidan, J. H. Wade and A. J. Elliott, left for the south last evening. The trio were farewelled by a good crowd of friends and supporters. A number of other Aucklanders are paying their own expenses in order to make the trip. D. Kerr-Taylor and J. Lynch expect to depart this evening, while T. E. Henry and J. W. Shirley are due to leave to-morrow. H. McCoy is also trying to make the trip, while H. G. Brewin and J. C. Stewart are cycling through from Auckland to Wellington.
