WORKERS WITHDRAW.
INDUSTRIAL PEACE MOVE.
SYDNEY, February 15
When the Peace in Industry Conference assembles at Sydney it is likely*hat the majority of the Labour delegates who attended the preliminary gatherings in Melbourne will be absent. The Melbourne Trades Hall Council, by 01 votes to 59, to-day decided to withdraw its delegates from the conference.
STRIKE PAY.
IDLE MEN DISSATISFIED.
SYDNEY, February 15
Strike pay was distributed to-day tc thousands of idle timber workers. They were manifestly dissatisfied with the meagre allowance compared with wba*. they were earning before the strike.
