Mrs. Culford Bell has been appointed elocution adjudicator for this year's Gore competitions. Mr. E. S. Collins, of Melbourne, arrived in Auckland by the Mara ma on a business visit to Xew Zealand. Arrivals at the Central include Mr. G. W. Currie (Wanganui). Mr. C. Dingvall (Dunedin), Mr. J. Quiim (Wellington), Mr. T. B. McManus (Sydney). Mr. O. Hunter (Oamaru). Mr. A. Bennett (Rotorua). Mr. M. S. MacFarlane (Christchurch), Dr. and Mrs. G. E. McCullough (Manjrapai). Dr. ajid Mrs. A. Skoet (Cambridge). Miss Buckland (Cambridge), Mr. M. Manning (Sydney) are at the Albert Hotel.
