On January 20 the Maungaturoto will be paying 1/5, 1/4% and 1/3%, and will distribute £8807, against £5150 for January, 1928, when the price per lb was 1/3, 1/2% and 1/1%. The total payout for the present season to January 31, has been £43,772, compared with £30,256. The finances at Ruawai also show a very satisfactory position. With the price at 1/4 in each instance the payout last month was £12,822, against £8619 for January, 1928. The total payout for the season has been £63,356, compared with £42,617.
