MAN FOUND DEAD IN HUT.

WAIMATE, this day,
James. Stackpoole, aged 65, an unmarried man, was found dead in his hut last evening with his throat cut and a razor in his right hand. The position of the body and the surroundings pointed to premeditated suicide, which, according to a doctor, occurred eighteen hours previously. At the inquest today a verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned.
