GRAVE OFFENCES ON FARM.
admitted by immigrant boy

CAMBRIDGE, this day,
William Evans, 17 years of age, pleaded guilty to-day to four charges of indecently assaulting a girl five years of age on a farm at Roto-o-rangi between October 7 and 26.
In a signed statement accused freely admitted his guilt and stated that he came out to New Zealand in 11*27 under the Flock House scheme. Be went to work for the little girl's parents in September last. He bad a good public school and secondary education at Aberdeen. A parent of the girl said that apart from his offences accused wa3 wellbehaved about the house. He was committed to the Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence.
