The staootinr conditions were extremely difficult when the championship match, 31 birds, all off v 18yds, was started, a very ctrong southerly wind prevalllns- The event was won by C. B. Hodge with the excellent score of 20 kills. The shooter only used his second barrel once. C. Seddon sccond with 18, and P. Oallle third with 16. The winner was presented with the handsome diver nheasant, donated by.Messrs. wo.
