SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION.
LATE STARTING OF GAMES.
MATCHES ON ANNIVERSARY DAY.
Members of the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association's management committee met, with Mr. J. F. W. Dickson presiding.
Several members criticised the action of senior teams in ignoring the rules of the Association regarding the prompt starting of matches, the secretary stating that not once this season had the competition games started to time. It was decided to ring a bell ten minutes prior, to the commencement of matches.
It was resolved to play senior grade A and B matches next Tuesday (Anniversary Day), all games to commence at 9.30 and cease at 0 o'clock.
It was also decided to award Harbour Board a three-point win in the senior grade B match against Working Men's Club.
