AUCKLAND SHAREMARKET.

TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE. More sales were made of Bank of New South Wales shares at the third call ; yesterday at £51 5/, and that price was against offered this morning, but no , sellers quoted. Commercial Bank of Aus- ! tralia shares were quoted ex rights to the j new issue this morning. The rights were asked lk>r at 8/, and the buyer's offer for tli* #t»res, ex rights, was £1 9/3. The preference issue, ex rights, were wanted at £7 9/. I Auckland Gas shares sold yesterday i afternoon and again to-day at £ 1 4/5, and ! business was done . this morning in con- j tributing Northern Steam at 6/8. P. and O. deferred stock firmed to buyers at £3 ] 1/. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile I Agency ordinary stock are now wanted at £120, but no seller quoted. Dalgety, Ltd., shares improved to-dav, business ' being done at £15 8/. A sale was also I recorded of New Zealand Farmers' j Fertiliser shares at £ 1 0/6. New Zealand Breweries are now wanted at £2 16/3, and for Mosgiel Woollen shares £7 7/6 was offered. , ' Waihi shares are a little firmer, sales being made yesterday afternoon at 14/8 and to-day an extra penny was offered' Ohinemuri Mines shares had sales yesterday afternoon at 8/3.
