RUGBY, January 21.

Sir William Bull, chairman of the Channel Tunnel Parliamentary Committee, has approached all the Chambers of Commerco to find out whether they support or oppose the tunnel scheme. In another letter, asking all the trades councils and other Labour organisations for their attitude, Sir William Bull emphasises the great amount of employment the scheme would mean. He gives *n estimate that the wages paid would he at the rate of £5 for one week's work so that, if the cost were £30,000,000 it *ould mean six million weeks' work.
