PROPOSED LOAN OF £67."»,000 FOR THE GENERAL EXTENSION AND IMPROVE MENT OF THE ELECTRIC SUPPLY UNDERTAKING IN THE AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER DISTRICT. The Auckland Electric-power Board hereby gives notice in pursuance of Section 10 of the above mentioned Act :— 1. That the purpose for which the Loan is required is the General Extension and Improvement of the Electric Supply Undertaking in the Auckland Electric-power District. 2. That the Auckland Electric-power Board, being unable to provide tile necessary funds for such purpose out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to borrow the sum of £675,000. 3. That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be a special rate of one-fifth of a penny in the pound on all ratable property in the Auckland Electric-power District. 4. That the Auckland Electric-power Board proposes to make such loan repayable in twenty-one (21) years, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a Sinking Fund of not less than Two Pounds Ten Shillings ( £ 2 10/) per" centum per annum. 5. That the Auckland Electric-power Board proposes to pay out of inch loan, such costs, charges and #xpense», as the Auckland Electric-power Board may determine to have hnyn actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the Interest and Sinking Fund thereon for the firat year.
