Members of the Auckland Girls' Cricket Association's Committee met last evening. Considerable discussion on the financial position of the association took place. The Paeroa cricket team suffered its second defeat at the hands of Waitoa this season in the Piako competition. Waitoa batted first, and compiled 118 runs (Moore 59. Johnston 21, Perry 11). Bowling for Paeroa. Taylor took five wickets for 5 runs, Stack one for 17, Ball one for 21, Dare one for 34. Paeroa knocked up 97 (Meachem 23, B«II 18 not out. Howard 13, Knight 12).
