MAN'S SKELETON FOUND.
ON PUKEKOHE FARM.
IDENTITY UNKNOWN.
The skeleton of a man -was discovered yesterday in some rushes on Mr. Ernest Taylor's farm, at the corner of the Waiuku-Drury Road and the PatumahoeW&iau Pa Road. The skeleton had evidently been there for a year or more. The deceased had been wearing a tweed suit of dark grey and preen mixture, a dark prey felt hat with-a black band and boots size nine. Nearby was found an old tobacco tin with a £1 note and a 10/ note in it. In another tin there was a small quantity of tobacco. A comb, a toothbrush, a pipe and a pocket compass were also found. There was a full upper denture with two of the false teeth missing, and a partial lower denture. There was also a small bottle, the contents of which are to be analysed. There were no papers or anything "that would definitely establish identity.
