ORDER OF EMPIRE.

JUDGE OF NATIVE COURT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. At the conclusion of the meeting of the Executive Council the Governor-General, Sir Charles Ferguseon, presented to Mr. R. N. Jones, Chief Judge of the Native Land Court and Under-Secretary of Native Affaire, the insignia of a Commander of the Order of the British Empire. This honour was conferred upon Mr. Jones hy the King on June 3.
