Finest Aerial Exploit Last Year. AWARDED GOLD MEDAL. (Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, January 11. The International Aeronautical Federations at to-day's congress awarded Beit Hinkler the gold medal for the finest aerial exploit of 1928, namely, his flight from England to Australia.
