RAZOR DUEL
Woman Sees Gory Fight Between Seamen.
GHASTLY WOUNDS INFLICTED

NEWCASTLE, this day.
Two seafaring men, William McQuirk (29) and John McKwau (37) were found by the police in a room bearing ghastly injuries and marks which they will carry all their lives. The police say a woman watched a deadly razor duel in \vhich the men were wounded.
Blood streamed from slashes on their leads and bodies both victims refused to give the police any information. Twenty-one stitches were inserted in a Wound in McQuirk's face and McEwan's nostril was either bitten or cut clean off. The men were covered from head to foot with blood, which also bespattered the room. Both are in a serious condition.
