SENSATIONAL SCENES

Heated Debate In Victorian

Assembly.

TROUBLESOME WOMEN. MELBOURNE, November 8. Sensational scenes were witnessed during the heated debate in the Victorian Legislative Assembly, when a motion of no-confidence was moved against the Hogan Labour Government. A number of women in the gallery indulged in interjections, and fought the police when they attempted to remove the disturbers, who struggled fiercely and shouted disparaging remarks about the constables, and declared that the stevedores were being crushed by imported foreigners. The debate was not finished.
