There was a good attendance at a mooting at which it was to reform th<* Opotiki Rowing Club, after an absence from competitions for several years. T " c following officers were elected : —President. Mr. W. Bnrrett: vice-president. Mr. >. v. Hodgson : captain, Mr. W. N. Brown : secretary, Mr. R. J. Tabb: treasurer. Mr. A. Short; committee. Messrs. A. Breed and s. Main. It was decided to repair th ekids and boats immediately. The elchts crews were allotted. Tt is hoped to hold a regatta later in the season.
