He is in expellent order. ' Staghrinter cantered and Conunendttion was schooled at theTiarrier. After being Just a little restless he jumped out smartly. He should be right on net day.
The Hawk and Goshawk did nefd work. lBlack Mint cantered two rounds, owing freely when warmed up.

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) PAERO A, this day. The Ohinemuri Jockey Club has completed arrangements for' the holding of a spring meeting at Paeroa on Xorealar 17. The Auckland District Committee has approved of the programme of ma events as follows: —Trial Handicap, and a-half furlongs; Hack Hurdles, cat mile and a-half; Spring Highweight Handicap, six furlongs; Paeroa Cup, OV mile and a-quarter;. Ladies' Bracelet, A furlongs;- Hauraki Plains Handicap, seven furlongs; Publican's Purse.Handicap, six furlong?. Although a w*totaiisalor meeting. the club anticipate' excellent support from eurroußditf districts.
