Monday's Winner Starts Third Favourite. All started in the Green Lane Handicap with Bright Light £1022, Lonesome £813, and Etta Cole £619 mopt in demand. Lonesome, Golden Gate, Etta Cole, Roma Bingen, and Bright Light were racing in the above order when the field settled down. Passing the stand Lonesome had charge from Etta Cole, Bright Light, Kolmar, Gold Sovereign/ Roma Bingen, Anseline and Sebisca, and they raced along the back in that order, where Etta Cole moved up and was in charge crossing the top from Lonesome. Bright Light and Kolmar. Etta Cole led into the straight, followed by Lonesome and Bright Light and she went on to win by two' and a-half lengths from Lonesome, who beat Bright Light by half _ a length. Anseline was fourth, the next to finish being Gold Sovereign, Roma Bingen, Kolmar, Gold Star Golden Gate.
