RAASAY SOLD.
Reported Price Three Thousand Guineas. LIMERICK IN FINE FETTLE. (Keceivec 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Ideal spring weather is at present being experienced in Sydney. The champion Limerick is in fine fettle and makes his first appearance in the Warwick Stakes on Saturday. There is no sign of the old trouble of foot soreness. He looks as good as last year and is attracting a lot of attention. Baa say, a popular A.J.C. Derby candidate has just been sold to "Mr. Constable," who races in partnership with Mr. E. L. Baillieu. The purchase money is believed to be three thousand guineas. Raasay was formerly owned by Mr. J. S. McLeod. of Hawke's Bay. All the New Zealand horses by the Ulimaroa disembarked in good condition.
