STEAL>S FROM PLUXKET DOXAXION | BOX. | It was onlv a particularly mean thief j who visited the Plunket Society's head- • quarters in Symonds Street early yesterdav morning and stole a small sum of money from a donation box kept just . inside the front door of the bmTrirng. After breaking a glass panel in the main 1 door, the intruder wrenched the box from the wall. The box was not broken open.; but it is thought that he secured a few ! coins by shaking them out of the aperture in the top of the box.
