ALLEGED THEFT FROM CAR.

MAX DENIES CHARGE

A charge of stealing two suitcases containing hardware samples valued at £15, the property of Allen A, Roberts, was preferred against a labourer named George William Dennison (30) at the Police Court this morning. Dennison pleaded not guilty. Chief Detective Hammond said that the two suitcases were stolen from Mr. Roberts' motor car about 5.30 last evening. Later Dennison was found in possession of the suitcases, endeavouring to sell them. ~

Accused waK remanded until Thursday next.
