NEW WIRELESS CODE.
FOR MEDICAL AID AT SEA. (Australian and X.Z. Press Association.) LONDON, July 27. A new wireless code is being adopted by the owners of several transatlantic steamers, and it is hoped it will later be adopted throughout the world. Its object is to secure medical aid when a ship is without a doctor. For example, the code words "maham mahad" mean "male passenger had difficulty in breathing." It is expected to aid considerably in securing medical ■ assistance.
