STEEPLECHASE ACCIDENT.
UISBOKXK RIDER IN BAD WAV. (By Telegraph.— Special to "Star.") GISBOUNE, Friday. Rufus fell in the lightweight steeples at the Gisborne Hunt's point-to-point meeting to-day. His rider. Mr. C. Tietjen, was badly crushed and was later removed to the Cook Hospital. Mr. Tietjen is reported to have sustained a dislocated neck and is in a serious condition.
