Arrangements have been made by the "Auckland Jewish Women's Benevolent Society for the nurses on the staff of the Auckland Hpspital to be present at Mr. Maurice Moscovitch's production of "The Silent House" during the coming week.

Miss Maude Rovden will arrive in Perth this week, and will be the guest of the well-known Mrs. Rischbieth at "Unalla." Cottesloe. She is to be entertained at luncheon at Government House, and also at Parliament House by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Hon. T. Walker. A civic reception is also to be tendered to her at the Town Hall. Her itinerary in West Australia includes public meetings at Kalgoorlie, Perth, Claremont, Fremantle, and a citizens' rally at His Majesty's Theatre, Perth. Miss Royden has expressed a wish to see something of the Australian aboriginals, so a visit has been arranged for her to the Moore River Settlement, pirt of the journey being accomplished by air On Tuesday, July 24, Miss Royden will leave by the Minderoo, en route for Singapore.
