NEW WELLINGTON WHARF.
LEASED TO OIL COMPANY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Burnham wharf, which was erected by the Wellington Harbour Board for oil discharge, has been leased to the Shell Company for seven years. The wharf, which is situated at Miramar, is intended only for the handling of oil. It is surrounded by high fences so that it can be locked up when it is not working. For reasons of safety the public will not be admitted.
