FARMERS' UNION SOCIAL.
ENTERTAINMENT AT CAMBRIDGE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. The Cambridge branch of the Farmers' Union held a very successful annual reunion last evening, about 150 members, with their wives and guests, assembling at dinner in the Triangle Tearooms. Afterwards the lady guests of the branch were entertained at a picture party, while the menfolk were entertained at a smoke social, a lengthy toast list being honoured. Among the speakers were Messrs. A. A. Ross (provincial presulent), D. Stewart Reid, M.P., W. Lee Martin, P. A. E. Missen (N.Z. Dairy Company), P. Keegan (union organiser), F. H. Anderson (chairman of the Cambridge Dairy Co.), and T. F. Richards (Mayor).
