I quite agree with "Colonial Born." I most say it is very disheartening to hundreds oj New Zealand's unemployed workers to re« that most of the immigrants who arrived ■ Auckland by the Hororata had positions to step into. Do these immigrants know wW they are coming to? Do they expect to P** 5 "P gold in the streets? Tliev must be sidty di-appointcd. NEW ZEALANDEH. • UNEMPLOYED. I can fully sympathise with "Justin.-."' have answered advertisements till I a® and tired of it. I liavo sent copiessome cases, originals of references, •J s ® stamped envelopes, but I never get a i*Pv* At some places I have been to I have W asked, "Are you an immigrant ?" and, if "Wo don't want you." Is there no symp»t*y for the boys who went to keep the old Hying and the big man in his position? conscientious objectors also get the prefere**- - A RETURNED DIGGER.
