ANZAC DAY SERVICES.
An Anzac memorial service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Parnell, on Sunday next at eleven o'clock, under the auspices of the Returned Soldiers Association. Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson, have intimated their intention to be present. The preacher will be the Rev. Macdonald Aspland who will take as his text, "Have we Done with War?" The choir will render the anthem, "Land of Hope and Glory," and the "Dead March" in "Saul" will be played by the organist, Mr. C. Harold Hardley. A special service will be held in the Memorial Chapel, King's College, Middlemore, at half-past seven on the evening of Anzac Day.
DARGAVILLE ARRANGEMENTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Arrangements are being made to hold the Anzac Day services at the new band rotunda, which has not been used before. A record gathering of citizens, including returned soldiers, is expected.
