BAr OP PLENTY MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.! OPOTIKI, this day. The annual meeting of the Bay of Plerntv Sheep Dog Trial Club was held at Opotiki on Friday. The election of officers resulted: Patrons, Hon. K. S. Williams, M.P., Hon. J. B. Gow, Messrs. G. S. Moodv, P. Reid, T. Hendiry, P. C. R. Purcell. R. Porter, J. O'Sullivan ; president, Mr. C. McKenzie; vice-presidents, Messrs. T. Black, W. G. Butler, A. Braae, A. Davies. J. M. Butler; committee, Messrs. G. 8. Moodv, W. Burrett, C. \V. Reid. C. Black, W\ A. Smith, M. Roberts, V. Smart, A. Reid, C. Shaw, A. Horton, C. Gordon, A. Gordon. \V. Pratt, T. Urquhart: hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. T. Clark; hon. auditor. Mr. T. H. Pearson; timekeepers, Messrs. J. M. Butler and T. Urquhart.
After discussion it -was decided that the dates allowed to the club were un-suti.ible, and it was finally decided to fix a date at a later meeting.
