PIGEON FLYING.

ELLERSLIE CLUB. The Bllerslie Club held a race from Te Kuitl in boisterous weather. The winner was Mr. Wilson's Faery Bell, with the velocity of 803 yds per minute. Results:— Mr. Wilson's Fairy Bell, 803 yds per minute 1 Mr. Hughes White Flight, 786 yds 2 Mr. Wallace's Blue Bell, 738 yds 3 Messrs. Irving and Don, 712 yds; Mr. Chapman, 6C2yds; Mr. Porter, 026 yds; Mr. Chiug, 0158.v lis; Mr. Young, 598 yds. The club held a race last week from Huntly. Results:— Mr. Wilson's Faery Bell, 1162 yds per minute 1 Mr. Porter's Tavistock, 1096 yds 2 Mr. Chapman's Gold Bell, 1088 yds .... 8 ONEHUNGA CLUB. The above club flew their first race of the third series from Te Awamutu, an airline distance of 86 miles. After a hard fly against a head wind, Mr. W. Leng's m h Lady Nan proved the winner. Results:-— Mr. W. Leng's m h Lady Nan, 777 yds per minute 1 Langton Bros.' bc h Royal Force, 771 yds 2 Mr. J. Wallace's b c c Master Hansenne, 768 yds , 3 Mr. R. Hanson's r c b Electric Bell, 761 yds; Mr. W. Sargent, 757 yds; Mr. A. Langton, 745 yds; Mr. V. Carden, 715 yds; Mr. F. Wilson, 714 yds. CORNWALL CLUB. The Conrwall Club flew the first race of the second series from Te Awamutu under ideal weather conditions, when Mr. L. G. Bedford's b c p cock, Flying Cloud, established a record, covering the 82 miles in 1 hour 21 minutes. Results Mr. L. G. Bedford's b c p c Flying Cloud, 1789 yds per minute 1 Mr. R. Waltam's blk h Black Bess, 1606 yds per minute 2 Mr. R. Fullerton's b c h Shamrock, 1441 yds per minute 3 Mr. W. Butler, 1210 yds, Mr. J. D. Foss, 1184 yds. The club flew the second race of the second series from Te Kuiti, an airline distance of 104 miles, and under the weather conditions the velocities registered are commendable. Results:— Mr. L. G.
