INTERFERING IN FIGHT.

FRACAS ON STEAMER,

WELLINGTON, Sunday.

Following a fraens on the steamer !\rt Hunter last night, John Connor, a fireman, aired 30, was admitted to die hospital with injuries to his throat.

It is understood that Connor tried to separate some men who were fighting, and that in doing so he received a cut on the throat from a razor blade. Ilis condition is net serious.
