OBITUARY.

MR. L. W. STONESTREET

The interment took place to-day at Waikumete Cemetery of Mr. Lawrence Ward Stonestreet, who died suddenly on Saturday. Deceased, who was only 24 years of age, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Stonestreet, of Gladstone Street, Mount Albert. On Saturday morning his brother went to wake him, but found that death had taken place during the night. He had been attended by a medical man, who gave a certificate as to the cause of death, so an inquest was not necessary. Mr. Stonestreet served his time at the Brett Printing and Publishing Company's works, and has been a journeyman stone hand for the last couple of years. He was very highly thought of by his comrades and by all I others who knew him.
