ENGINEER KILLED.
ACCIDENT IN A QUARRY.

WAIHI, this day.
< The police received word thia afternoon that William Mayberry, a well-known resident of Waihi, an engineer by occupation, was killed in a quarry at Aongatete this morning.
It is understood that the quarry is being used for the railway construction works and that Mayberry was attending to some part of the machinery when he was killed.
