HERE AGAIN.

FOR THE SWORDFISH.

MR. E. P. ANDREAS ARRIVES.

CAUGHT THE FIRST BIG FISH,

The man who caught the first swordfish and afterwards popularised the thrilling sport of big game fishing, Mr. E. P. Andreas, the well-known Australian sportsman, arrived by the Aorangi from Sydney last evening. Mr. Andreas leaves for Russell almost immediately with a party comprising Lieut.-General Sir Tom Bridges, ex-Governor General of South Australia, and Mr. Percy Arnott, of Sydney. After returning from .Russell, Mr. Andreas and party are to go to Taupo after the smaller trout. Incidentally, Mr. Andreas explained how the swordfish was first captured. With Mr. A. C. Campbell, of England, Mr. Andreas was out fishing for kingfish when they hooked a "swordie." Later by developing the right kind of gear, the trace, they were able to catch any amount of the big fish.
