) The New Zealand Meat Producers' J Board has received a cable f ron * ijj s repre- } eentative at Buenos Aires, South America, \ advising the following shipments to the 9 United Kingdom for the fortnight ended 9 January 19, 1928, from Argentine and 5 Uruguay:—l4l,s7o quarters chilled beet; o 8024 quarters frozen beef; 114,000 carcases 3 frozen mutton; 82,576 carcases of frozen lamb. ® The quantity shipped to the Continent ,q of Europe during the same period was as follows:—82,300 quarters frozen beef; 15,314 carcaoes frozen mutton, and 35 car- ® cases of frown lamb. _
