TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE. More: attention was paid to War Loans md debenture stock on 'Change to-day. Sales were made of both issues of Soldiers' Loan at £101 2/6, and for the inscribed 5Vt per cent loan, 1927-41. £99 was paid for Auckland Harbour Board 6ix per cent debentures, and Mount Eden Borough, same rate of interest, are wanted at £103. For the s?i per cent Mount Eden Loan par is offered, the same as for Devonport six per cent. National Bank of New Zealand shares are now wanted at £0 17/6, a slight advance. Bank of New South Wales shares could be placed at £47 15/, but no selling rate is quoted. Huddart-Parker Steam shares had buyers at 30/ to-day. Auckland Gas again sold yesterday afternoon at 23/3. Further transactions took place in Taupiri Coal at 25/. Buyers of Renown Collieries raised their offers to 14/ this morning, but no seller quoted. Buyers offered 62/9 to-day for Pukemiro Collieries, and 16/6 for Waipas, while Hikurangi preference were placed at 8/. Milne and Choyce debenture stock firmed a Tittle this morning, sales being made at 23/9, and later, further transactions took place at the same figure. BUSINESS DONE. AT THE 3.15 P.M.
